
Project title: Semiconductor membranes for topological electronic components
In DTU Energy, my research focuses on the fabrication of electronic devices based on InAs/Al nanomembranes. This new material platform combines the advantages of both InAs nanowire and 2D quantum well platforms, supporting back-gate tuning, symmetric terminal coupling, and a hard induced superconducting gap achieved through epitaxial growth of the superconductor on the semiconductor. We will utilize this material platform to realize new types of electronic devices, which are theoretically predicted to show mesoscopic topological properties and investigate their electrical properties at ultra-low temperatures.
